My approach comes down to 3 things:
1. Get to the root
I don’t take what you say at face value.
A lot of people don’t get to the root of what you want. If we don’t look at what you want in your LIFE, not just business, you might build a business that ultimately doesn’t support you.
I’ve experienced this myself - I grew a photography agency because I thought that’s what I had to do, but it ultimately wasn’t what I wanted for my life.
2. Cut out the noise
To grow your revenue AND your profit, you actually need to be doing less, not more.
You'll learn how to become an expert at ruthlessly filtering signal versus noise (aka, what actually drives revenue and profit vs. other stuff that looks fun but is actually draining your time, money, and energy).
3. Build your business with a strategic partner
I don’t just talk at you and give you a gigantic todo list that leaves you more overwhelmed than you were before. We work on it together. Like roll up your sleeves, share your screen, and actually-do-the-stuff together.

First of all - facts! There are lots of incredible options out there. I’ve invested in a lot of coaching & education myself. ☺️ As a lifelong learner, here’s what I’ve found:

I started my career as a software engineer at Apple.
First of all, it was really hard to get a job here coming from The University of Alabama.
Secondly, while I was at Apple, I worked cross-functionally across a lot of different teams. Translation: it was literally my job to see the big picture.
I left my fancy-schmancy job to go all in on my brand photography business.
I thought my dream was to be a Silicon Valley tech mogul. Turns out, it wasn't.
So I left and built my 1:1 brand photography business to $246k annual revenue at a 50% profit margin my first year full time.
I’ve created and sold a studio rental space.
I opened my studio rental business at the same time I became a full-time photographer. I sold the studio after running it for 3 years.
I have my MBA.
TBH, this degree isn’t that useful when it comes to running a 1:1 service business.
But it did teach me a lot about communication, "soft skills," and public speaking, which you'll learn more about on the next slide! 👉
I'm a keynote speaker.
Every month in college, I was unwillingly forced into public speaking for various group projects. I got pretty good at it, and I eventually realized I actually love public speaking.
